Two words…

…very honoured.

I made a silver quince necklace for Sue at The Quince Tree, or rather, was commissioned by her other half by proxy. It has been one of my favourite commissions to date.
As far as I know, Sue is not the King of Spain’s daughter but nevertheless it put me in mind of silver nutmegs and golden pears.

Emma, I've been thinking of that rhyme too, it should have a line about a silver quince shouldn't it?

I am also honoured to be the owner of such a beautiful thing. I can't thank you enough.

How beautiful – and like the twelve days of Christmas….and a silver quince in a pear tree.

What an adorable little fruit! I can imagine that Sue will wear it almost all the time! I have been wearing my silver bell almost everytime I go out, and it's bringing even more significance now that bells go with the Christmas season so well!

    It's absolutely stunning.

One of the most whimsical and precious pieces of silver jewellery I've ever seen.

I'd love something like that of my own.
