The unscheduled blog silence was due to an unscheduled illness. I couldn’t drink tea for six days! This was unprecendented. Tea and I go back a long way. We have never been parted for so long before. Thankfully we were reunited last Tuesday.
Whilst I was poorly it was the small stuff that helped. The little ones, the Mr and the dog visited, told me jokes and cheered me up. Despite the sign, a pig arrived on a Vespa.
Honesty seedpod,
shepherd’s purse,
and feather designs have all been added to my etsy shop and Poppytalk Handmade virtual table. Click on the link from tomorrow – it’s the 5th anniversary market over there so it should be a good one.
In other news I am THRILLED to have been invited to have a stall at this year’s Selvedge Christmas Fair at St Augustine’s Church Hall, London on the 10th December.
I would love to see you there.
Finally, something will be arriving in the post this coming Thursday that I’m in danger of becoming rather squeaky about. Kristina has already seen it.
Groovy Vespa! Glad you are better.
I'm sorry to hear that you've been unwell but you were looked after rather well, it seems.
Your jewellery is exquisite! I would not know which item to chose to won, they are all sublime.
Sorry to hear you have been so poorly and hope your recovery continues fast! Love the little silver pendants and congrats about the Selvedge thingy too.
I am so glad that you are better! And I have put Selvedge in the diary – better start saving now . . .

Oh poor you…glad you're feeling better now! I already have a trip to the south east planned entirely around the Selvedge Christmas Fair, so what a bonus knowing you'll be there too!
I have been absent from you in so many ways. Glad you're back here. I'll try to be back, elsewhere.
Lovely photo of the little people and your necklaces are lovely. Good luck with the fairs.
I am so glad you are feeling better. That Vespa is certainly stunning.
Beautiful creations as ever, Emma.
Be happy and WELL!
Just stumbled across your blog, your stuff is lovely, and congrats on teh craft fairs, I'm hoping to be doing some in the Cardiff ares come Christmas time too.
So sorry to hear you've been so poorly, but glad you are now on the mend. It was lovely to meet the Piggerlet again too. Congratulations on the Selvedge Christmas Fair too, what a coup!
Love Penny (and Higgins!)
When pigs ride…
Glad you are feeling better, and enjoying your tea again.
And…i meant to add that i adore the honesty seed pod and shepherd's purse necklaces. They are such elegant treasures.
Pleased to hear you're on the mend – not being able to drink tea is a strange indication that all is not well, I get it too and I really don't like it! I swap it for hot blackcurrant instead but it is no where near the same. New work is lovely and good luck with all your fairs. Presumably blogging will be taking a back seat to making!

What could be better than a pig on a Vespa when you are feeling ill, the perfect cure in my opinion.
Sorry you've been poorly, not being able to drink tea, how dreadful!!!!
Love the new jewellery, really pretty. 🙂

Oh my goodness, you ARE well. Selvedge..squeak ! Well done you wonderful woman and silverclay supremo.(Suprema?) That is great height indeed and what you deserve, and the honesty..well…honestly. So so clever. I looked at the picture of the real honesty and then tried to imagine what you could have done before i scrolled down. It was even better than I imagined.
If I am unwell, it is usually tea that keeps me going. So, it must be a good sign that you are once again enjoying a cup.
Looking out of my window, I can see the Honesty, just begging to be taken inside. However, it could never compare with your beautiful, beautiful pendant.

So glad you're on the mend and creative again! I lost my voice (an 'extinction de voix' in French – very graphic) so can imagine just slightly how you've suffered.
Glad to hear you are feeling better again! Such a sweet photo of your two little girls.
Your new necklaces looks beautiful!
Have a lovely new week,
Madelief
Gorgeous necklaces (particularly the honesty)… we need to catch up…(no vespas though!)
Glad you're feeling better 😀 The honesty necklaces are really beautiful x
I'm so sorry you've been ill Emma but I'm glad the minsitrations got you better. The new jewellery is beautiful and congratulations on the fair. xx
So sorry you were ill, glad you are feeling better. I can't imagine not being able to enjoy your tea for so long. I will be heading to your Etsy shop to see what you have! I sold a pair of my earrings on my Etsy shop to a lady in Vietnam! ((hugs)), Teresa 🙂
I'm glad you're feeling better! Your work is so beautiful — I love that it's inspired by nature!
I cam't begin to think what I'd do without tea. It must be my inner (a few generations ago) English. Glad you are better, Mrs. You must be, because you've been up to some spiffily wonderful making…
glad you are feeling better, life without tea is no fun xoxo your new designs are such a joy, and congrats on the selvedge fair, wow!
Pleased to hear you are better and I love the new Necklaces. Conratulations on being in the Selvedge fair too… I'm really upset as I got an invite to have a stall but I'm already committed to something else so couldn't make it. We could have gone together!
That's fantastic that you've been invited to take part in the selvege christmas fair, well done! Sorry to hear you've not been well, but it looks like you're well now and busier than ever, marvellous! Vanessa xxx
Sorry to hear you've been poorly. WEll you seem to have come back strong with a lovely new collection.I especially like the shepherd's purse as its always been a favourite wild flower of mine.
Give me a buzz about crochet lessons when things calm slightly.
Your jewelry proves it – nature is great for inspiration. Keep creating.
Ah, but you see – the pigs are allowed, but not permitted to be NOISY.
We must have a spooky psychic bond, as I have been guzzling shepherd's purse by the dropperful. Don't ask.
All gorgeous as always, and I hope you are well and truly mended, missus.
gald to hear you are on the mend!
looking forward to seeing your new nature inspired designs.
Glad you're feeling better – love how a walk in the woods is so inspiring!
I'm so sorry to hear you have been ill – but I'm baffled – what illness prevents you from drinking tea? …. surely hot beverages help all ailments?
Sorry to hear you have been unwell Emma. The thought of not being able to drink tea for six days makes me feel a bit wobbly too!
Love the pendants!
Must check out the Selvedge Christmas Fair.

Playing catchup with you – sorry to hear you had been poorly. Great news re the Selvedge Fair though.
Sad face at the news that you've been poorly and stuck in bed (and how uncanny that my word verification word is sickin!). Happy face at the exciting news about the Selvedge fair 😀
