Splash of Colour: February

This is the last Splash of Colour week of the project, designed to carry us through winter on a wave of colour.  Not only is Spring is just around the corner but we’ve also built up a fantastic stash of almost 600 colour-packed Flickr images to call on in the coming weeks should there be a grey dreary day.

I think the winter’s effects are really being felt at the moment so if you fancy injecting some cheer into your week then seek out some colour. It doesn’t matter what the colour is – a spot of blue sky, a child’s drawing, a solitary flower in the garden – it’s all good.

There are spring flowers in the shops and bulbs are peeping up. This week should be good.

Don’t forget to pop a link to your blog here and link back if you’re joining in with the colour:

Huge apologies – all the Linky Lists have been removed by the organisation that provided them with only one day’s notice. I am trying to reinstate the list today (Monday 7th)

Beautiful flowers for a very grey day here in dreary Derbyshire.

What a swansong you have there! Love all those colourful flowers and the pretty vases/planters. I'll be sorry to see the end of this idea but not sorry that hopefully by the beginning of March we may not need to inject colour into our dull days any more!

These are so beautiful, although Son 1 kind of spoiled the post for me by saying :'Those are just like your gazunder, mum!' (see post, possibly tomorrow, for details if you can bear it). Just believe me that your photos are way prettier than my gazunder!

This has been a lovely winter brightener. Thanks for organising it!

Beautiful flowers Emma! Spring doesn't feel like it's around the corner here — the wind is howling and we're in the middle of our worst storm of the season!

I joined in with this months ago but didn't bother adding myself to your list until today. My splash of colour is there to be seen now… might do one for March though, but without the title, as March can be pretty miserable here in Norfolk, as it can anywhere.
